Charitable Educational Institution bases its educational philosophy on a Christian world view which comes from the truths of the Christian faith found in the infallible, inerrant, and inspired Word of God. The Bible is authoritative, reliable, and the final source of truth. We believe God created, sustains, and will consummate all things through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, the universe and all life are dynamically related to Him and have the purpose of glorifying Him.
Charitable Educational Institution recognizes that the man is created in the image of God and therefore is of infinite worth. He is also a sinner by nature and by choice because of the fall of Adam. As such, he is separated from God and incapable of knowing or glorifying God, apart from a work of reconciliation by God through the atoning death of Jesus Christ. Man can be reconciled to God only by being born again through receiving Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord by faith.
Charitable Educational Institution affirms that education can most effectively be accomplished in an environment which recognizes that all truth is the truth of God. The fear of the Lord is the foundation of all wisdom and knowledge, and only a redeemed person can fully comprehend truth as the Holy Spirit reveals it to him. In the curriculum, an emphasis on the unity of all truth and on the development of an eternal perspective for life naturally follows.
Charitable Educational Institution strives to developthe whole child, and therefore offers a balance of instruction so that students may grow in knowledge, skills, and wisdom which ground young people the rest of their lives for living as God has designed, free to choose with wisdom and act with love. Holy Scripture clearly teaches that parents are responsible for their children’s education and discipline. The school is not a substitute for the home, but is an extension of the home and one means through which parents can fulfill the responsibility the Lord has given them. Come join us in this wonderful adventure of Christian education!
Charitable Educational Institution sees students as children of God, created in His image to be molded, developed and encouraged to use their talents and gifts for a life of responsible Christian service. Our Kindergarten Program provides an active and vibrant atmosphere where learning is fun. Loving words and actions in a disciplined classroom environment surround the children. A certified teacher and a trained classroom aide closely supervise the students in and out of the classroom. Charitable Educational Institution carries out our educational action to reach the following goals:
-
Provide a Christian atmosphere where love of God is openly expressed. -
Ensure a smooth transition from home to school. -
Inspire language development. -
Allow for plenty of opportunities for cooperative learning and play. -
Provide a solid academic foundation. -
Design our program so all children have the opportunity to feel the joy of achievement.
Charitable Educational Institution summarized our educational mission in the words of our Lord Jesus Christ: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14).
Charitable Educational Institution over the next years wanted to develop an amazing Community of learners. Together teachers, students and parents helped each other learn to think through their lives. Academically, we focus on knowledge, critical thinking and learning with a Christian worldview. Children are nurtured, supported and encouraged to see their unique strengths, gifts and talents as opportunities to serve God and their fellow man, thereby having a transforming effect on their culture and their world.
Charitable Educational Institution, with our academic program, seeks to challenge each student while meeting their unique interests and readiness. We believe that the school is an extension of the Christian home, designed to reinforce the faith and values of the parents. We believe that policies and procedures governing the school should be consistent with the standards of the Holy Bible, which is the inspired Word of God. We believe that this is the world of God, that each child is unique in the sight of God, created in His image to live a life of faith and service.
Charitable Educational Institution has, as a mission, to be an effective instrument of God. Together with Christian parents and the Christian Church, we educate children and young people so that they may grow and mature into perceptive and caring Christians. Finally, our goal is to produce citizens who will have a transforming influence in the world.
Our Charitable Educational Institution was started on July 2007, by a group of Christian Volunteers determined to provide to rural children with a quality education from a Biblical perspective, where the home, the Christian Church, Christian Ministries and our Christian School work together as a team seeking to glorify Jesus Christ in all things. Based on this belief, we require at least one parent to profess as a Christian, or otherwise, we commit to evangelize to the family. Parents and students are expected to demonstrate, by their lifestyles, their commitment to Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
In July 2007, Huerta Village people transfered an old building for our Christian Ministry and immediately our Volunteer Corps begun to attend to the children of all the surrounding villages and communities.
In September 2007, Espíritus Creativos — Christian Ministries signed an Inter-Institutional Agreement for Educational Cooperation with the Local Education Management Unit in the Province of Anta (Ugel Anta) to offer “Christian Education to rural children” of the Province of Anta.
In December 2007, fundraising for the educational costs has began with our Christian Brothers in the United States of America, Australia and England. These courageous Christians (Ps. Lucy, Ps. Ricardo, Gigi, and Nicole) form the nucleus of a group which conceived of the idea of a Christian School in Huerta Village; they wanted an education founded on the Word of God, which would allow them to exercise their baptismal vows of proclaiming the glory of God to the world.
God, blessing this vision with a Sponsorship Plan to help us to give a free Christian Education that changes the lives of rural children in Huerta Village and Mosocllacta Village providing tuition, uniform, shoes, books, material and supplies for all students in our Charitable Educational Institution.
We are also blessing to be situated in a beautiful part of the creation of God, in close proximity to the mountains, farms, and such Peruvian historical centers as Cusco, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley of the Incas.
During the summer of 2008, a group was formed to organize the first school for rural students called Espíritus Creativos — Christian School. Maintenance, repair, cleaning and painting of the old building was perfomed, and a School Board was selected. Doors opened officially on March 29th, 2008 with an enrollment of 16 Kindergarten students and 16 First Grade students, and the First Day of Classes was realized on March 31st, 2008.
On September 23, 2009, the Peruvian State Ministry of Education (Minedu) by Directorial Resolution Nº 2387 from Regional Office of the Ministry of Education in Cusco (Drec) which determines the "Authorization of Functioning of the Charitable Educational Institution by Agreement named Espíritus Creativos — Christian Ministries in the Level Education of Preschool & Elementary School" under the Jurisdiction of "Local Education Management Unit in the Province of Anta (Ugel Anta)", regularizing their functioning from January 1st, 2008.
“Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy” (Psalm 126:2-3). Amen, Amen and Amen.
